Crime in Korea

I heard New Zealand is a safer country than any other country. But I am living here, now it may be not true. New Zealand is also a bit dangerous for international students.

My country has some crimes. Most Koreans are good people, but some have commited a crime. Korea has various crimes such as theft, robbery, burglary, shoplifting, murder, manslaughter and rape. It doesn't have blue collar crime, but also white collar crime. Recently, white collar crime is increasing. Someone evaded tax and had misappropriation of public money. I think white collar crime will be a bigger problem than blue collar crime. But Korea has the security police. It is better than any other country in the world. So the crime rate in Korea is low. When we compare crime between America and Korea, crime in America is mostly murder, the other side, crime in Korea is mostly fraud. The crime happened in the city more than the country. So the country that my grandmother lived in was selected as 'the village without crime' by the goverment.

In fact, everybody commits a crime. for example, throwing away rubbish on the street, spitting on the street, illegally crossing the road, and speeding. Everybody used to violate the law. The crime still happens, until the law exists.

Today is thirteen days since I have been living in Hamilton, New Zealand. So I haven't done many things yet. I have bought something here only once . I bought a multi-adapter last week.

I like shoppng, whether I buy something or am just looking. When I was in Korea, I often went shopping with my friends after our class. I usually buy new clothes, shoes, and bags. Shopping is not only about buying what I need, but it is also a very interesting time because I can enjoy it with my friends. These days, I enjoy shopping on the internet.

I went to Victoria Street last weekend. There are many stores such as clothes stores, food stores, drink stores, and grocery shops. Next time, I would like to enjoy shopping in New Zealand.
